Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween to all our friends and family! We hope you had a safe and fun time celebrating one of my favorite holidays. I love Halloween. I love the costumes, the scary movies and the candy. I loved trick-or-treating as a kid and still do as an adult. Larry is in UT for this Halloween so the kids won't be going door to door. Kaijsa, Larry, Kamden and Kinsee were able to make it to the Trunk-or-Treat with our Ward last weekend before he left. They were all so cute all dressed up. I was unable to go due to working nights now but was able to get them ready and take the pictures. They came back after getting lots of candy. Tonight Kaijsa will take Kamden to the Church down the way and have fun there with candy and bouncing houses. I hope he has fun. We'll put Kinsee to bed before they leave. She is just too much of a handful at times. She did make an adorable Tinker Bell though. Kamden is a cute race car driver. Kaijsa was a cute nurse and Larry is just sexy too. Enjoy the Candy and have a great Halloween! Next is Thanksgiving then Christmas then New Years...the time will fly by...are we ready?

BYU Football

Here are the pictures of us at the BYU vs TCU game. We went with such high hopes of seeing our team win but NO! They lost and horribly. We will never speak of it again. It did remind me of why I never went to a game while attending BYU. hehe. It was fun to go out. It was fun to see a game. Glad when it was over.

Election Time

http://votehelp.org and http://glassbooth.org are 2 sites you can go to if you're interested in the Presidential race. I have never been one to get involved in politics and I must admit I don't know much about politics but as I get older the more I want to know. I found these quizzes kind of fun and interesting in who they told me I should vote for. There are links to give you more information on certain subjects which I liked and it gave you a percentage of who you agreed with. I hope the best man wins the election and the country is protected by the Lord. Please take the time to vote!

Halloween Spider

Again, I'm not sure you can see it but we found this big spider outside our house today. It's a Tarantala and it was pretty good sized. Kamden, Larry and I were the only ones who would get close to it. It was fast when it moved but otherwise it was just loving the sunshine. I love these spiders. They look so scary but are pretty harmless. I love that they are big too, makes it fun to scare the kids with them. hehe

Kaitlyn's new haircut

I hope y'all can see the picture. Kaitlyn got her haircut today and she sent us a picture text. I think it's cute. It fits her personality. I'm glad she's getting her hair done and feeling pretty. I love getting my haircut and I love having my kids get theirs done. It's fun to try new styles. We love you Kaitlyn! Thanks for sending us the picture.

Rainy Day Fun

We had a couple of rainy days this week and on one of those days I was trying to clean up a little bit. I thought, "my house seems quiet", which is usually concerning so I looked around and found my son playing out in the rain. He was jumping and having a great time. I thought it was so funny. Then Kinsee realized what he was doing and wanted to do the same so off she went too. I took their clothes off so that they wouldn't get wet and since it's still 70-80 degrees here it was perfect. Kinsee and Kamden are getting really good with playing together. Kamden has always like jumping on the tramp but Kinsee was a little fearful. She is now becoming more comfortable with it and doing more on it. On the ground she is super daring and fearless on the furniture. I thought it funny the trampoline would take warming up too. Once done outside it was time to come in and dry off. Then it was attack each other time and snuggle time. I love to see them love each other and get along. I love that they are close in age and enjoy being together. I hope it continues as they get older. They are so cute together and I love watching them. Love you babies.

Kaijsa Story Part 2

On Jen's blog you can read part 1 of the Kaijsa story...but when she came home tonight we thought as parents it's our duty to discuss it with her and to laugh. So we're talking about Jen and her not doing her hair because of the rain when Kaijsa states "You can't get wet outside" so she could do her hair. We then give her the "What did you just say" look and laugh. I immediately had to post it as it was so funny. Kaijsa it does rain outside and rain does make you wet so it is pointless to do your hair on those days. We love you Kaijsa and your silly moments. We love that you can make us laugh and not know why. You are a great daughter. Hugs to you...

So You Think You Can Dance

We had so much fun at So You Think You Can Dance Tour Show. Darlene came into town and went with us. The dancers were incredible! It was such a fantastic show. I'm so grateful to my sister for taking us with her. It was a great night out. Thank you to our friends the Wyatts for babysitting and helping us out. I loved every dance and we got to see all our favorites. There was a quite a bit of talking in between performances but they put together a great show. I would definitely go and see them again. We've had a busy but fun weekend. The only thing we haven't done yet is go to the State Fair. I hope to do that soon too. Thanks Jen! It was good to see you Darlene. I'm glad I was able to share the event with Larry and Kaijsa.

Daddy Son Day Out

I know there are a ton of pictures but there were so many to choose from! Larry and Kam were able to spend a day together bonding and went to the Air Show. Kam LOVED it! He loves planes and anything fast. It's all he can talk about and it's so cute. It is awesome to see him so excited. It was like Christmas morning when he woke up and got to go. Larry and him had a fantastic time and came home tired and sunburned. I'm so glad they were able to have that time together. I love the pictures and I love my boys!

Reading

I love reading and I read to my kids every day and every night before bed. I love reading them stories and the scriptures. They have also come to love reading and books. I love it when they bring me books to read, even if it's the same one over and over and over again. I want my kids to love reading and learning. One morning Kinsee woke up and went outside with Larry's notebook and pretended to be reading. I took this picture but she looked up as I was taking the picture. I thought it was so cute that she just went outside to read and enjoy the morning. That is something I totally love doing.

Cutie Patootie

I'm not sure if you can really tell what I did but Kinsee Belle's hair turned out so cute I had to take a picture. I did it all cute for church today and she actually sat pretty still so I could do it. I'm trying to become more creative with hair. I can't wait till she's a little older and her hair is a bit longer but in the meantime I have done some cute stuff to her hair. I plop her in the Bumbo and away we go with it. I love the bumbo, greatest idea ever.

Kaijsa finally let me take a picture of her new cut. I'm not sure if you can really tell but it's shorter and has more layers. We've also been coloring it Dark Auburn and it's really pretty on her. I love the cut. She wears it straight and also curly. I'm not sure which I like better and she's still finding ways of doing it but we like it. Plus it's only hair so it can always grow back if after a while you don't like it. I just think this style is really flattering on her. She's looking so grown up. Love you Kaijsa! Thanks for letting me take your picture! Love you too Kinsee Belle. I'm so glad you let me do your hair. Love girls, can't wait till we have all of them together again. I love trying things out on Kaitlyn and Kira too.

Eternal Family

Congrats to Tim, Teresa, Taileigh, and Tayvan on becoming a Forever Family! We are so sad we couldn't be there to celebrate the big day with y'all but we thought of you all day. We truly hope it was as special and wonderful as it should be and was hoped to be. We are so happy for you. We are so excited that y'all have had the wonderful blessing of being sealed together forever. We love y'all! Sorry we missed it. Please know we wished we could have been there and that we love you and miss you so much! The blessings of being forever will come. Love you Guymon Family!

Kinsee Belle's First Haircut!

We took Kinsee Belle to get her first haircut and boy was it hard on her! She screamed the entire time and they barely did anything. All they did was trim up the back a bit. I probably should have gone a little shorter but I love putting it up in different styles. If it's not pulled back it just falls in her face and drives us all nuts. So she hated it while Kamden didn't mind his first one. There are so many differences between boys and girls. She is now fine and as cute as ever. Kamden also got his hair cut and it looks so much better short. He has my brother's crazy, wild hair otherwise. Kaijsa also got hers cut. If I can get her to let me I'll try to take a picture of it and post it later. It is shorter and so cute I think. Mine is still growing and I can't decide what to do with it so it stays as is. I just see a few more gray hairs then I would like to so I'll start coloring it maybe. Here's to haircuts the good and bad we've all had!
