Kamden turned 5!
Here are some pictures of Kamden's birthday. Today my little boy turned 5! I can't believe he's that old already. He's growing up so fast and turning into quite the little man. I love him and his sweet spirit. He has anger issues at times but inside has the sweetest most sensitive heart and soul. I am grateful for him and all he teaches me. He makes me want to be a better mom. Happy birthday bubba! We love you!
Top 5 things Kamden loves:
1. His sisters and brother. He loves playing with them and teasing them.
2. Loves his cars and planes!
3. Loves mom's meatloaf...and candy of course.
4. Loves school and learning.
5. Loves Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father. Plus his earthly family both near and far.
Here's to another wonderful exciting year Kam!

In Remembrance of my Mom

My mom was a beautiful person inside and out. I can't believe she's been gone 3 years today. The time has gone by fast and yet slow at the same time. There are still times I think she's just out or on vacation and then it will hit me she's gone. There are still so many times I think "I wish I could call my mom, she'd know the answer". She was so smart and remembered everything. I loved being able to ask her a question and know that she would know the answer. I love her more all the time and am so grateful for her and all she taught me and did for me. I'm just sad it took losing her to realize how much I really did love and appreciate her. I have now learned to not wait till people are gone to say how much I love them and to be grateful for them. I am blessed with all those I have around me and I know she is still one of them. I know she's watching over me and my family and I'm thankful for the Gospel teaching me that this is possible. I love you Mom! I miss you just as much today if not more than the day you went back to Heavenly Father. Can't wait till we can be together again but am thankful for the sweet spirits you have sent my way to be a part of my family. I know you taught them and sent them to me/us. Thank you. Love you! Miss you!

Sunday
I didn't get any pictures today when I wanted to. Today was our first true day at church for the year. We went on the last Sunday of 2010 to bless Kallen but didn't stay for all of church. Then the first Sunday of the year we spent driving Kira to Las Vegas to get home. So here we are today going to Church for the first time in 2011. Kaijsa has just a few more months of Young Womens and then will move up to Relief Society. Kaitlyn will be in Young Womens by herself for the first time. I'm sure she'll enjoy finding herself separate from being Kaijsa's sister. Kira will have her last year in Primary. Kamden moved up into Primary and Kinsee started Primary. Kaileigh is in Nursery and doing well I might say. So it was just Kallen and I hanging out. He was asleep so I got to attend all 3 meetings. It's been a long time since that has happened. Probably since before Kamden and he's almost 5! Larry didn't make it with us and he was missed. He has been called to be the Assistant Ward Clerk and I have been given the calling of creating the Bulletin each week. I have come to realize the older I get the more important church is to me. I need that time each week to reflect and rebuild myself spiritually. I really enjoyed Relief Society today. The lesson was on Fasting. I didn't get to pay as close of attention in Sacrament as I wanted to because of the little ones and only having 2 hours of sleep but I know I heard some things I needed to hear. I wish I could remember them. I especially liked the husbands talk. It's driving me nuts that I can't think of what it was about and yet I know I liked it. I really need to work on my memory! Sunday School was the New Testament which I enjoy. I loved taking New Testament while at BYU-Hawaii and still enjoy reading from it. We are still making our way through the Book of Mormon as a family. It's tough since I'm only home 3 nights a week but we're trying at least, right? We are almost done with Mosiah and then will start the long journey through Alma. Again I wish the kids would sit still more/better but at times they say something and I know they are listening, even if it's not my way. :) I have many things I want to work on this year and that I need to work on this year but all of that I'll post on the Goals blog. Suffice it to say I had a good Sunday. I am even getting to have a little quiet time!
Goals
I think I'm going to sit and write some New Years Goals again but on the other blog I started but didn't keep up with. Please feel free to visit the Saling Goals blog, listed along the side, the keep me motivated and on track with all that I want and need to do.

Unhappy New Year
This year is proving just as difficult as years past. Why we can't seem to get a vacation from trials is unknown to me but I sure would like one.
Yesterday I was informed that I would be losing my job. I do get to keep it till Sept 30th which is nice. That gives me time to find another one. I moved my schedule to work nights again so I would have my days to improve my resume, find a second job, find a permanent job, and interview. I have some things to work on and figure out while keeping up with all the other things I do. I'm glad I have time to get it together. I was given a severance package which is helpful as well. I don't feel the rush to decide but do feel the urgency to really make a good decision not only for me but for my kids and husband as well. The option of moving to Minnesota is a possibility I think but not one I'm sure I want to make. Not only because moving is hard but MN is cold! So please keep us in your fasts and prayers as we try to decide what to do and where to go. Also feel free to give me any job opportunities you're aware of. We'll move if that's the right decision and choice for the family but staying in AZ would be nice too. We have a lot to do this year with Kaijsa graduating from High School, Kaitlyn starting High School, Kamden starting school, and keeping up with all the kids and improving Larry's health in the process. I've enjoyed my job and have liked who I've worked with so it's sad to say goodbye to them. But Heavenly Father must know best since he moved us to AZ and now has me job hunting anyways. Thanks again for all your prayers, please don't stop them.
Here's to finding a new job, raising a family and figuring out where life wants to take me.

Fun with Kallen
These are some fun pictures of Kallen we took today. He's growing up so fast. He is smiling and cooing now. He's on the verge of laughing and showing off his two dimples more and more. He even rolled over today from his tummy to his back! He's such a good baby and I love his sweet spirit. He bring such peace to everyone around him. I'm so grateful for the time I get to spend with him. He goes to the Dr for his 2 month check up in a couple of days and then I'll update with his new stats. We love you Kallen Dean! Thank you for the smiles and cooing, they make us smile and laugh too.
