Happy Birthday Kinsee Belle

Happy Birthday Kinsee Belle. Our little diva turned 2 on May 22nd. He is now officially into the terrible twos although I think she entered that stage early. :). She is still such a doll. She loves to play with Kamden and follows him everywhere. They play together quite well which I love. She loves to be outside playing and jumping on the trampoline. Now that it's warmer she is starting to really warm up and love the pool too. She is fearless. She is a strong spirit but at the same time has a soft heart. She is good to say sorry and to help out. For her birthday she got some much needed clothes for the summer, although currently she is our stripper and won't keep her clothes on for anything. She got some earrings too but continues to rip them out, I've got to figure out a way to get her to keep them in. She also got some play make-up, maybe that will keep her out of ours and some fun jewelry. She is loving it all. In the make-up kit it came with a purse and a cell phone which she carries everywhere. It's too cute. I again, still have yet to make her cake. I'm waiting till we finish eating Kaitlyn's. The weather has been lovely lately so we've spent a lot of time outside playing in the water and sun. She is our little "Indian" baby because she is getting so dark and so fast! Kinsee Belle is growing up into a beautiful, strong spirited little girl. She tests us but we love her. Our little blonde haired blue eyed beauty is a wonderful daughter. We love having her in our home. We love you Kinsee!

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn

Happy Birthday Kaitlyn! Our dear Kait turned 12 on May 21st. She is now in Young Womens and so excited to be out of Primary. She has grown up and changed quite a bit since coming to live with us, all for the better of course. For her birthday we got her a new bed and comforter because we moved her into Kaijsa's room. She also got a new cell phone so that she can reach us when she's away. We got her a Twilight board game and she of course knows all the answers to it. Thank you to other family members who thought of her as well. She got herself some books, that's she's almost done with, and a bunch of cute clothes. I didn't make her cake this time because well let's be honest...I was lazy. Plus I couldn't figure out how to do a good Twilight/vampire themed cake. So we had one made for her. I'll download the pics later and post it. It turned out cute and a little more grown up which was nice for her. She liked it and it tasted good so what else really matters? She enjoyed her birthday and that week at school since she was able to go to 6 Flags and had Field Day. She has 8 days left and then summer is here! We are so blessed to have her with us. The little ones love her. Kait also has a small job that is bringing her some fun money which is always a good thing. Kaitlyn we love you! We're so happy you're in our family. Congrats for being able to graduate from Primary and go into Young Womens. We Love You!!

Happy Mother's Day!

This is a tribute to my mom's. My mother of course was a wonderful lady. She had an enormous amount of love for people and was always so willing to serve. Actually my mother-in-law is the same way. Must be a trait mother's have that I need to gain. :) Larry's mom and My mom are such amazing people. So selfless. I remember not getting along the greatest with my mom but as I got older and wiser I realized how much she loved me and was trying to save me from myself. It's funny, now that she's gone I don't remember the fighting quite as much as I used to or the differences. Now I just hope to be like her someday. Maybe I'm just getting older. I also look up to Larry's mom. She is a wonderful mother to have around. Mothers seem to be so wise. I hope my kids someday realize how much I truly do love them and want the best for them. I may not go about it the right way but my heart is always in the right place. I really do hope to be a little like each of these remarkable mothers. Thank you Mom and Annette for being such amazing, talented, selfless, wonderful women. Thank you mom for loving me despite me being me. Thank you Annette for welcoming me into your heart and home. I love you both very much. I miss my mom every day but know she is with me. I know I can turn to you too Annette. Sorry we're not around more so you can see the grandkids more but know that we think of you and love you. Happy Mother's Day to you both!

Happy Birthday McKenna!

May not be the best picture, I'll look for another one but today is McKenna's Birthday! She is my brother's oldest and I think she looks a little bit like me...so of course she's adorable. hehe. We can't be out there for her special day but wanted her to know we are thinking of her and we love her. She is a smart, sweet, and funny girl. When she was little and I was around more we loved hanging out together. I like to think I'm her favorite Aunt and that we're her favorite family but know she has many around her that love her. Happy Birthday Mac! We hope you have a wonderful day! Can't believe you are 11 now! Wow! Have fun today and enjoy your time with Papa, I know he's on his way there. We love you!

Happy Anniversary

Today is our 6 year Anniversary! Wow has the time gone by fast. We've been busy with several moves, several surgeries, several jobs for both of us and quite a few kids later. We have spent most of our time together living in TX and loving it. We love the warm weather and the humidity, really we do. Our home is comfortable and full of love and laughter. Larry Dean is a wonderful husband and Father. I'm so grateful to have found him and his family. I married into a wonderful family. Larry is great with the kids and is a big help around the house. He enjoys cooking, which I don't, so he cooks as much as possible. I'm so glad. He is also good about helping clean the house and take care of the kids. I just wanted to take a moment and let him know how much I love him and appreciate him. I'm sure I don't say it enough, I tend to get too wrapped up in my days, but I love him with all my heart and soul. He is a special son of God and I'm thankful that he hold the Priesthood to bless our family and home. May we have many more years together with a few more smooth places to sail. Loving you more today then yesterday but not as much as I will tomorrow.

So...today Larry sent me out to get a manicure and a pedicure! It was so lovely! We then went to a nice restaurant and had the best food ever. It was nice to get out for a while. It was a great day and a lovely anniversary. Still hard to believe it's been 6 years. Some of you may think "only 6?" but the time has gone by fast for us and I'm sure we'll have many more fast fun years.

Baby #6

So I had a Dr's appt today and man it didn't turn out like I wanted it to. He has my due date a later then I've been calculating it, July 10th, so I had to ADD 5 days to my time. UGH! He did say I'm measuring big though so if I hit the 90th% for the baby's size then I can be induced early. I'm planning on that. I'm so big and uncomfortable that I'm ready now but realize I have till June sometime. Baby is healthy, the name is still Kaileigh Rose, Kai for short. We have moved Kaitlyn into the room with Kaijsa but need to set up the other room for Kinsee and the baby. Haven't had the energy to do that yet but need to get on the ball and do it. I've been so short of breath lately though that all I can do is get food for the kids and work. My house is falling behind in the organized and cleanliness departments. Kai is kicking more which is comforting but still isn't quite as active as the other 2 were. I'm ok with a calm child. Anyways...that's the update. Rest when I can, do stuff when I can and work all the time. Keep your prayers with us!

Kenny Chesney Concert

Ok! So this weekend we had tickets to the Kenny Chesney Concert. My sister got us all tickets for our birthdays and we were so excited to go. The problem is that last week was a very rainy week and Saturday was no exception. When we left that afternoon to drive up north it wasn't raining, or at least not too badly. When we got there we parked and walked around some and got free rain ponchos thankfully because we would definitely need them! The girls got a shirt to remember the event and then we sat and waited for it to start. Lady Antebellum (I have no idea how to spell that) was first. They were great. It started to rain some during them but not too bad so I was able to get a couple of pictures. By the time they ended it started to rain harder so it was a while for Miranda Lambert. I think they were hoping the rain and lightening would stop. But nope - it just slowed down enough for her to finally come out. I think Miranda Lambert was the girls favorite while Jen and I liked Lady A better. All through Miranda it rained and just got harder. With all the drinking going on too there were people falling all over the place. We didn't want to drive home with all the drunks so we left after her. We were afraid we'd miss Kenny Chesney but NO - they are going to reschedule him! We are so excited! I love Kenny and can't wait to see him. I hope they reschedule him on a day I can go. With the due date getting closer I can just see them setting the date when I'll be having the baby. Let's hope not! We had a great time despite the rain. Thank you Jen for the tickets and finding us a babysitter. You're the best!

This week is supposed to be nicer so we'll enjoy the outdoors and maybe be able to get my house in order. yah right, but one can hope.

Kinsee Belle

This is just a random picture of Kinsee Belle that I took. I think it is so cute. She was so tired that she fell asleep in her food. We had been out playing with playgroup and when we got home instead of going straight down for nap I thought I'd feed them. Well, Kinsee ate a couple of bites and then fell asleep right there. I remember Kamden doing the same thing. Now to get him down for a nap is a miracle. Why can't kids just always like nap time. I love nap time for me!
