Things I Love
I thought I'd write down a few things I love since this is the month of LOVE. Since Valentine's Day is on the 14th I'll tell y'all at least 14 things I love. This may be hard since there are alot of things I love but I'll try to keep it simple. They are not in any particular order.
1. My family. Not just my immediate family although I love them but my extended family as well. My parents are wonderful. I have great siblings and love my in-laws. Not many get along with their in-laws but I do and I truly do love them. Larry's family is awesome. I always wanted to marry into a family that I could love and who would love me and I did. Not only that but I wanted our families to get along and they do! I'm so blessed with the family I have in my life. Back to my immediate family...I love my husband. He truly tries every day to be better and help me be better. I love that. I love my kids, all of them. I love how they share and serve me and those around them. I love how blessed I am with a loving husband and kids.
2. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I don't necessarily love the "Church" or Wards I guess but I do love the gospel. I love my Heavenly Father. I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I love the teachings of the church and how they bless my life and the life of my family. I love the scriptures and the peace I feel when I read them. I know the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true gospel/church of Jesus Christ.
3. I love having a warm home to live in and raise my family in. I'm so blessed to have the home in which we live. It's suitable for our needs. It may not meet our wants but it does meet our needs to which I'm so grateful. I love being able to decorate it and clean it, although I hate cleaning it all the time. :) I love knowing I have a home to live in and be warm and comfortable in.
4. I love food and love being able to eat food. There are some in my family who have a hard time eating and it's so hard to see them sick. I'm grateful I can eat and not have a problem. I may murmur that I am overweight or want to lose weight but I do love food and I love eating food. Now to just learn portion control. :) I'm not sure of my favorite food but I love living in America where I can eat whatever I may be craving.
5. I love America. I love living in the United States of America. I love the freedoms which we enjoy. I love the blessings which we enjoy. I love the comforts we have in our country. I love the holidays and peace our country has. I love those who have or who are willing to give their lives for my safety and freedoms.
6. I love warm sunny days. I love rainy cool days. I love the beautiful world outside. I love the sunshine and being able to play outside. I love playing in the rain and snow. I love the outdoors and how it makes my mood happier. I love the beautiful world Heavenly Father created for me.
7. I love snuggling inside my house to a good book or movie. I love being able to relax and unwind after a crazy day. I love movies of all kinds but especially scary movies.
8. I love the smell of cookies, cakes, pies, and breads baking. I love the smell of good good being cooked for me to eat. :) I love the smell of Christmas and Spring. I love the smell of fresh cut grass and clean laundry.
9. I love helping others and receiving help from others. I love service and am grateful for those times I can give it and for those times I receive it. Service keeps me humble which is important for me.
10. I love being pregnant and babies. We may be done with our family but I loved being pregnant and I love seeing my babies grow. I love their excitement for everything, I love how it's all new and wonderful for them. I love their trust and faith. I love how they love and forgive. I love their smiles and how they light up their whole faces. I love my babies and all babies.
11. I love purses! I love wild fun purses and pretty elegant purses. I love big ones and small ones. I have so many and I'm often teased by Larry about how many I have but I love them. They express my moods and personality.
12. I love getting dressed up for things but also love living in my jammies.
13. I love my job and how I can work from home. I'm so blessed with a great company and great people to work for and with. I love working from home so I can see and be around my family. I love my job and helping those who are sick and need help.
14. I love Love. I love how it makes me step out of myself. I love how Love makes you selfless and humble. I love how Love can make you laugh and cry. I love how it melts your heart and lifts you up. Love makes you weak but strong at the same time. I love how you have to work at it sometimes to make it stronger and deeper but how there are times it just happens and seems so easy. I love how Love changes people and hearts. I love how it's a 4 letter word that means so much and yet others seem to treat it like it's nothing. Love is truly what makes the world go round, with it the world is great and without it the world is lost and broken. Let us all take time to truly think about what we love, who we love and why we love.
LOVE...I love it.

Valentine's Day
Camille, Tim, Larry and I went out for Valentine's Day. We had the BEST time. Kaijsa and Kaitlyn watched all the kids for us so that we could have a night out. Thank you, thank you, thank you Kaijsa and Kaitlyn! We love and appreciate you so much! They did a great job watching the kids and the kids love them. The kids gave valentine's to each other and enjoyed the night together. The grown ups went to dinner and a movie. We went to the Olive Garden and only had to wait 1 1/2 hours to be seated. The food was divine and the company was fantastic. After dinner we went to see a movie. We watched Valentine's Day and laughed our behinds off. The movie was so funny. The date night was super fun and will have to be repeated. I loved us all getting dressed and prettied up to go out. It was nice to be able to go out and not have to worry about anything.
It was a great Valentine's Day. Larry got me some exercise pants and the new Wii Fit Plus. I got him a snow hat/beanie and the movie Pete's Dragon. The kids each got a little something too. Kaijsa got a cute shirt, red of course, Kaitlyn got a red sweater, Kamden and Kinsee each got flashlights. They can't be in their beds with it dark, they have to have light. So we got them flashlights. Kamden's is a dinosaur and Kinsee's is a monkey. They make noises and everything. Kai got a book about Valentine's Day and how it came to be. They each also got cute outfits for Valentine's Sunday. They were so cute.
Kaijsa looking pretty and so grown up.
Kinsee with her monkey light.
Kamden with a good picture after many funny faced ones.
Kaitlyn growing up so pretty.
Kaileigh growing up so fast! She is such a doll.
My family is so cute. I love my kids. I love my husband. Thank you family for all you do to help me. I'm so loved!
Texas Snow Storm
We got a beautiful snow storm this past week in Texas. We got just over a FOOT of snow! Yep, you read that right, a FOOT! We were loving it. Of course we have no clothing for weather like this but we did what we could. Lots of layers and lots of fun. We woke up to what we thought would be the 3 or 4 inches they said we'd get, but nope it just kept on coming. By the next morning we had just over a foot of the fluffy white stuff. I had to shovel to get our cars out and we have no snow shovel. So I used a garden shovel, took me a while but I did it. We built a snowman, which didn't turn out very pretty but it was fun to build. We made snow angels and hiked and played in the snow. The field behind our house was absolutely beautiful. Now it's melting away and we're glad. As pretty as it was and as fun as it was I'm ready for spring and summer. The kids are going crazy inside but get too cold outside after about 20 minutes or less. We did get them some hats and gloves/mittens that were on clearance. Otherwise they used our socks on their hands. Now it's time for a bunch of laundry and cleaning the house.

Busy few weeks
Sorry it's been a while since our last post. I've been a busy mommy lately trying to get in all the Dr and Dental appointments I can before our insurance changes. We are again changing insurances in March. Again we'll increase what we pay for it and decrease the benefits from it. Bummer but at least we have insurance and it's not completely unaffordable yet. So for the past couple of weeks it's been one Dr appt or dental appt after the other. Here is the update...

Larry is still having some tests done to see why he's lost so much weight. I wish I could lose the weight he's lost but I can't complain since I'm healthy and he's trying to become healthier. Although, I must say, he's been doing fabulously lately. We're feeling very grateful and blessed. The dr is still trying to figure out exactly what is wrong but they are narrowing things down which is nice. It's nice to have a Dr. finally stick with him long enough to try and figure out what's wrong and to fix it.
I don't have a picture of Kaijsa, sorry, I'll work on that. She is also trying to get healthy. She's now on some new medicine for her Crohn's but is doing ok with it. She also went to the dentist and had 7 cavities. Not big ones so no shots or drilling to get to them. She got them filled today and was a trooper. She's great and doing well. She took her test for Dual Credit at the Community College and will be able to register for classes in April. She's a little set back but not much. She can start her class in May. She is also getting ready for the Pioneer Trek this summer so she's walking alot. We have to get her some clothes but otherwise she's just got to get in shape. Good luck Kaijsa! She is also considering finding another job. We're sure she'll find one she'll enjoy and be good at.

Kaitlyn has decided to play soccer this summer and we couldn't be more excited. I'm going to be a soccer mom. It's moments like this that make me excited to be a mom. I've always wanted to run from sport to sport and be that cool mom. We'll see if I'm successful. We signed her up for Spring Soccer and got her the gear. We'll find out her team and practices/games in a few weeks. Here we come!

Being home schooled it will be good for her to get out and make some friends. She has perfect teeth according to the dentist so no work there. School is going well for her although she hates spanish class and needs to do more there. She'll get it all done by summer time.
Kira is going to go to Girl Scout Camp this summer. Her birthday is today! Our little Kira is 10 years old! I can't believe it! Time sure does go by fast. Happy Birthday Kira Marey! We can't wait to see you this summer! She is busy with school, dance, sports and girl scouts. We're proud of our little Kira or Kira now. She's not so little anymore. 10 - double digits. Crazy.

Kamden is feisty and so funny. We love our boy! He also went to the dentist and no surprise had a couple of cavities. I think 5. Again there were no shots or drilling. They relaxed him with some laughing gas (Kaijsa too) and fixed him right up. He now has no chipped tooth anymore! I should have waited for his birthday pictures but didn't know all this would be done so oh well. He was such a good boy for the dentist. He let them clean and fix his teeth w/out any problems. We're so proud of you Bubba! He goes to the Dr later this week so I'll have to update y'all with his stats. I know he's growing though because he feels solid and has gotten so tall! He is loving Primary and is a big help with his littlest sis Kai.

Kinsee is also doing well. She has been sick a little lately so is taking it easy. We hope you feel better soon Kinsee Belle! She's had a rough time with being sick, losing a toe nail that got smashed last year and just fell off, and now had her finger smashed in a costco cart. It looks nasty but should be ok. She has a spot on one of her teeth but not enough to do anything about it. My kids have developmental problems with their teeth because I'm under stress while pregnant with them. Crazy. She is good though and they'll just keep an eye on it. She is doing really well with the potty training and hardly ever has any accidents anymore. We're so excited about that. Love ya Kinsee Belle!

Kaileigh is doing so well! She is sitting up and playing with toys on her own. She loves real food and sleeps through the night. She is starting to get up on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth. She is a happy healthy baby girl. She is growing up so fast! We love our little Kai. The kids are so great with her and love her bunches. Kai is a blessing and joy to have around.
Our family is doing great and I love each and every one of them. My appt with the Dentist didn't go so well. Since it's been around 10 years since a really good dental appt I'm not surprised with how bad every thing was. I had to have a deep cleaning, which still isn't done. I also have I think 5 cavities. Only 1 needs a shot. The others are just a slight scraping off and filling in. Most of them in fact are just covering the front of my teeth to protect them and not make them so sensitive. So I count only 1 as a true cavity, maybe 2. I'll get them taken care of next week. It's been cold and rainy here but the kids love it. Larry got me the Wii Fit Plus for V-day and we opened it early. We are all loving it. It's been a lot of fun, even the little ones can play some and are getting good at a few of the balance games. I think it's good for them. It's been good for all of us to get a little healthier this year. Plus I love listening to my kids laugh and play together. Makes the home warm and cozy.
Have a good week everyone! I love y'all! Happy Birthday Kira, we love and miss you! Thank you Larry, Kaijsa, Kaitlyn, Kamden, Kinsee, and Kai for helping me out so much and being a wonderful family.
