New Glasses

Here are a couple of pictures with Kaijsa and her cute new glasses. She can now see and she is amazed with how clear everything is. She is now a safer driver since she can finally read the signs and see what is ahead of her. She's adjusting to them but we all think they look great on her and make her look more mature. We love you Kaijsa and like Kamden tells us....they are pretty on you. Now you should do even better in school :) just kidding.

Here are my new glasses. Kinsee Belle broke mine a while back and so I had to replace them. When they first came in I had a weekend of not being able to see, they were so crazy to look out of. I took them back in to be told that they had the lenses wrong. So a few more days using a very old pair of glasses they finally came in and now I can see better than before. They still took some adjusting but it's nice to be able to see again. Oh to get older and have to wear glasses and have my eyesight get worse. Oh well... I think they are cute.

Summer Fun

Here are some pictures of us having some Summer Fun. Kaitlyn and I took the little ones to the mall and played in the water. It's so much fun to watch them with eachother and other kids. They are so sweet and always wanting the other kids to come play. We all went to McDonalds the other day and Kamden walked around inviting all the kids to come play. They did and had so much fun. I was so proud of him. And he never forgets Kinsee Belle. He's growing up into such a cute and kind young man. Kinsee is mischievous but still a lot of fun. They have been counting down the days till Kira arrives...which is TONIGHT! Kaijsa watched some movies with them and they love to lay like she does. They copy everything we do. It's fun to see them growing up and learning new things. We've had a great summer so far and are excited to have Kira with us to share in the rest of the summer. Kaileigh is one month old today and getting so big! She is calm and such a lovely little lady. We love her so much and can't imagine our family without her.

Running Late

I used to be the type of person that showed up at least 15 minutes early to everything. But somehow after getting married and having kids I'm good to be there on time. Why is that? I plan ahead. I try to get everything ready an hour before we leave but still, no matter what, I'm either on time or just a bit late. It's crazy. The following are pictures of things that are late.

This is a picture of the cake I have finally made for our little Kinsee Belle. It didn't turn out like I wanted it too but it was fun to do anyways. So it's 2 months later but I got it done. Now if I could just get b-day cards bought. Hmmm.

These are pictures of the family this morning before church. I'm taking the picture obviously so we're a bit incomplete plus Kira comes next Sunday but we're a cute family nonetheless. Kamden got dressed and wanted a picture with his dad and sisters. He is so sweet and everyone cooperated which was wonderful. I truly do have the best immediate family and extended family.

I love you Saling Crew! Kira gets in NEXT Sunday night and we can't wait. We have a lot to do before she comes but I know we can do it. One more week Kira and then you'll be with us and we'll be complete as a family. We'll take a bunch of family pictures then. Plus I need to get some of Kaileigh and Kira alone. We'll post as we go.

Boys Night Out & Daddy Daughter Time

Larry was able to take some time and have a boys night out with my dad and Kamden. They decided to go golfing and hit some balls so out went Papa, Larry and Kamden. It was a bit cooler the night they went so it wasn't completely hot and miserable. They had a great time and enjoyed spending time together as just the boys.

Larry was also able to spend some time with Kinsee the other day too. So he dressed her up in a football outfit and took her outside to teach her how to play. They tossed the ball back and forth and she got pretty good at catching it. They had fun before it got too hot. I figure someday she'll be the cheerleader for her brother Kamden while he's playing but we'll see.

This is it for the posts. Hope you enjoyed catching up with all our fun times. We have a few more weeks of summer before school starts so we'll keep you posted of what we do. I'm hoping to get some back to school shopping done in small increments but we'll see. I also want to start on my Christmas shopping since we have such a big family now. I have about a month for each of us so I have to get it started. Have a great week everyone.

Random Pictures and thoughts

Here are some random pictures we've taken as the summer days go by. Kaijsa was gone for a week at EFY and when she came back she just wanted to love on the baby. Kai loves Kait and Kaij and just snuggles to them. Kam and Kinsee love to give her hugs and kisses too. They are always asking where Kaileigh is and wanting to hold her and watch her. It is so sweet. Kinsee is such a little mommy. She and Kamden will help out by getting bottles and diapers or whatever else she needs. We also went shoe shopping the other day because I discovered that my kids' shoes are WAY too small. But of course as is the little ones tradition shortly after buying shoes one of them loses one. So...Kinsee's cute new pink sparkley shoes that she HAD to mow the yard in is now lost. I've found one so far but the other is in Babies World as we call the place where all their lost items are. I will keep looking as those were the shoes she picked out and loves best. I sure hope we find it. I hate buying something only to lose it 5 minutes later. We all got some cute shoes that were on sale at Payless...now to just keep them in them for a while (ya right). We're having a fun summer and loving the sunshine and lazy days. Ok so not so lazy but still fun. We have lots going on this week and then in a couple of weeks Kira is with us. We can't wait for Kira to arrive so we can take lots of pics of her. Our camera eats up batteries but we love taking the pics and sharing them with all y'all.

First couple of Sundays for Kaileigh

Here are some pictures of the last couple of Sundays. I wanted some pics of the kids dressed up a bit or dressed period for the little ones and of Kaileigh's first few Sundays. They all clean up real well. :) Kaijsa and Kaitlyn continue to be a huge help with the family and around the house. We are so blessed to have them with us. They are fun to have around and we all love them tons. Kamden is becoming such the little helper. Sometimes almost too much of a helper but I can't complain. Kinsee too enjoys trying to help out. It's fun to see them learn new things and to be growing up. I hope their helpfulness continues as they get older. Kaileigh or Kai as we sometimes call her is still a wonderful baby. She hardly ever cries and usually only wakes up once a night. A couple of nights she's actually slept through the night. She loves to be snuggled which there is no shortage of and she loves to sleep. The girls sometimes say "wake up already" but I know as she gets older and is awake more they'll be saying "sleep already". She is a sweet spirit and balances out the house and family. Larry and I are doing well. Having another child isn't much different so we re-balance our days and just keep going. I'm glad he's around and able to fix the house. It seems when one thing falls apart everything decides to break so he's been busy being Mr. Fix-It. We sure do love Daddy and Papa for all they are able to fix and do!

Happy 4th of July!

I love Independence Day. It was one of my mom's favorite holidays and one of mine as well. I love summer, the cook-outs, the friends and family. I love the fireworks and the Patriotic Songs. I love this country and the Freedoms we enjoy. I hope all of you had a wonderful 4th of July.

It was hot here but full of fun. We had good friends around us, good food to fill us, and fun times to wear us out. Thank you to everyone who put this together and made the day so much fun. The kids wore themselves out by swimming, throwing the ball around, eating and swimming some more. Plus the fireworks! It was a great day and my kids actually slept in a bit. YEAH! My dad and sister put this together and the friends came and memories were made. I'm so glad we could spend the day together. Some of my pictures didn't turn out, they came out really dark for some reason. Silly camera. But there are some good ones of us having a good time. It was around 110 degrees so the pool felt fantastic. Kaileigh slept quite a bit when not being passed around and Kaijsa got back from EFY just in time. I love my family and friends. I love my Country and want to thank everyone who has or is serving this blessed land.

Lena Vivian Pullen - Happy Birthday Grandma

I have come to discover that I have no good pictures of my Grandmother. I need to take my family back up to Missouri to see them and get some better pictures, or pictures period. Today is my Grandmother's Birthday. I must admit I have no idea how old she is but she is a wonderful grandma. She is my Mother's mother and took care of my mom all by herself until my mom was 8. That is when she met my Grandpa. She is an amazing woman and I love her with all my heart. I know she won't see this but I wanted to post a note just to remember her and let her know I love her and we're thinking of her. Happy Birthday Grandma.

Summer Work

Larry got up today and since it was a little cooler than usual (high 70's to low 80's instead of almost 90) he decided to do some yard work. He cleaned the gutters, mowed the yard (with the help of Kamden and Kinsee) and cleaned the grills. We love BBQ so now that they are clean we can do that more. It's a beautiful day in the upper 90's. Now they are all cooling off by jumping on the tramp and playing in the water. I'm so glad my kids love playing outside and in the water. It's fun to watch them laugh and get along. Kaijsa is at EFY and I'm sure enjoying herself. Kaitlyn is with us babysitting and working hard. She has been a big help with the kids. Since I've had a few days off work and have felt better since Kaileigh was born I've actually been able to catch up on the housework. It's never completely done but at least I'm keeping up. Those last few months of being pregnant were rough so the house took a backseat. Now it's looking better. If only I could get a bit more organized. We have a lot of stuff that needs to be looked at and either sold at a yard sale or tossed. All in time I guess. We'll get there. I have so many plans I want to do and there is just never enough time. Happy summer to everyone! Thank you Larry Dean for being so wonderful and working hard. Thank you to my kids for helping me out. Which reminds me. I did laundry the other day and actually folded it to put away. I took Kamden's upstairs late one night so it was sitting by his door. I went up today to put it away and he had already done it! I couldn't believe it. My little 3 year old had put his laundry away without being asked and he even put them in the right places. He has grown so much the last few months and is a really big helper. I love seeing the progress. Both Kam and Kinsee are actually really good about helping and putting things away but especially if someone helps them. This time they just did it. It was a wonderful surprise. They also helped me clean the upstairs the other day too. Fun times. Anyways...all is well. We are now going to go eat some popcicles and enjoy the day. I love those lazy summer days!
